JOHN HIATT

US country blues musician and acclaimed songwriter John Hiatt, who will be appearing solo, has had his songs covered by everyone from Eric Clapton and Emmylou Harris to BB King and Bob Dylan. His first album for three years, entitled Same Old Man, will be released in May. The cleverness and versatility of John's songwriting, coupled with his endearing, distinctively gruff voice, have gone to make him something of an American institution, and he was inducted into Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame last year.
