City Resident Discounts

 

BOOKING INFO

CAMBRIDGE CITY RESIDENTS... are entitled to a limited number of special discounted tickets: Thursday; Full Festival; Concessionary Full Festival; Friday; Young People. To ensure that only Cambridge City residents benefit, the following conditions apply: any combination of Cambridge City resident tickets will be limited to 2 per person; all tickets will be held for collection from either the Cambridge Corn Exchange Box Office (recommended) or the on-site Box Office; a separate proof of residence will be required when collecting each City resident ticket from the Box Office and at the Festival; proof of Cambridge City residence will comprise: a current Council Tax Bill or utility bill showing name and address; photocopies will not be accepted. In addition, similar identification with a Cambridge City address will be required for each City resident ticket when entering the Festival.

Do not attempt to pass on or sell a Cambridge City resident ticket to someone who is not a Cambridge City resident as they will not be able to get in. A Cambridge City resident is defined as a person living within the Cambridge Billing Authority area, where Council tax is paid to Cambridge City Council.

CONCESSIONS... on Full Festival tickets are available to Cambridge City residents only who are in receipt of one or more of the following: income support; job seekers allowance (income based only); working tax credit; council tax benefit; housing benefit; disability living allowance. Those in receipt of disability living allowance requiring a companion may purchase a second Full Festival ticket at the concessionary price. Proof of receipt must be shown at the Box Office on site, or the full price will be charged.
 

HOW TO BOOK

All tickets will go on sale on Sunday 11th May at 9am.
Box Office open Sunday 11th May 9am-4pm. Thereafter Monday-Saturday, 10am-6pm.

Tickets will be available online, by phone and in person* (*Cambridge City residents only). We have allocated approximately 60% of all tickets to online sales.

Should the line be engaged or if you are on hold, we would ask you to please be patient. We expect a large number of calls, particularly in the first few days of booking. Ensuring customers have the correct information and have booked the correct tickets can be time consuming. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro.

IN PERSON
Personal booking will be available to Cambridge City residents only. To reduce the queue’s size on Sunday 11th May, it will be limited to the purchasers of the first 500 Full Festival tickets, out of the total allocation of Full Festival tickets discounted for Cambridge City Residents. Once these 500 tickets are sold out the Box Office will close its doors.

PROOF OF CITY RESIDENCE
Cambridge City residents' tickets are valid for Cambridge City residents only. A separate proof of residence will be required when collecting each City resident ticket from the Box Office and at the Festival. Proof of City residence will comprise: a current Council Tax Bill or utility bill showing name and address; photocopies will not be accepted. In addition, similar identification with a Cambridge City address will be required for each City resident ticket when entering the Festival. Cambridge City residents who arrive without the necessary identification. for each Cambridge City resident ticket will be required to return home to obtain the necessary identification. Do not attempt to pass on or sell a Cambridge City resident ticket to someone who is not a Cambridge City resident, as they will not be able to get in. A Cambridge City resident is defined as a person living within the Cambridge Billing Authority area, where Council tax is paid to Cambridge City Council.

NON-CAMBRIDGE CITY RESIDENTS - WITHDRAWL OF PERSONAL BOOKING
Due to improvements in online booking and problems associated with queuing, personal booking is no longer available to non-Cambridge City residents. A detailed explanation of the reasons for this decision can be found under Tickets/FAQ of this website. If you are not a Cambridge City resident do not travel to the Box Office as you will not be able to buy any tickets in person and do not attempt to buy a Cambridge City resident ticket from touts or on sites such as eBay, as checks will be carried out on entering the Festival and you will not be able to get in. A Cambridge City resident is defined as a person living within the Cambridge Billing Authority area, where Council tax is paid to Cambridge City Council.

RESTRICTIONS ON THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TICKETS YOU CAN BUY
In order to minimise ticket touting and to ensure that tickets are distributed as fairly as possible, the following restrictions apply:

· A maximum combination of 4 adult tickets or young people’s tickets, per person or per booking.

· Any combination of Cambridge City resident tickets will be limited to 2 per person within the allocation above. A separate proof of residence will be required when collecting each City resident ticket. Further identity checks will be carried out when entering the Festival. Do not attempt to pass on or sell a Cambridge City resident ticket to someone who is not a Cambridge City resident as they will not be able to get in.

· A maximum of 1 camping ticket per Full Festival ticket.

· A maximum of 4 children's tickets per adult ticket.
